China successfully launched new space exploration satellites on Sunday, including Macao Science 1 and Macao Science 1, the first space exploration satellite of the Macao Special Administrative Region.

The China National Space Administration (CNSA) said the satellites were launched at 4 pm Beijing time using a CZ-2C launch vehicle (“Changzhen-2C”) from Jiuquan Cosmodrome in northwest China.
“Aomen Science-1” is a research satellite launched into equatorial orbit to monitor the geomagnetic field and space environment. This is the first space science satellite program jointly developed by the interior of the country and the Macao SAR.
This flight was the 474th flight of the Changzheng series launch vehicles. At the same time, a scientific and experimental satellite called “Lojia-2” was sent into space.
Earlier this week, China launched a new satellite as part of the Beidou navigation system, as Ukrinform reported.
