Android 14 will receive new privacy feature for those who carry out screenshot as video. From the new mobile operating system from GoogleYou no longer need to record absolutely everything that happens on your mobile phone just show the tool.

According to expert Mishaal Rahman, in android 14 this will be possible limit screenshot to only one app. It means system alerts, time, battery percentage, messenger notifications (including the beginning of messages) and other interface elements are excluded from the content.

According to Rahman, one can quickly choose one of the last three apps you opened for isolated capture or access to the full list and select the desired program. If the application is closed or switched to another application during recording, the screen in the final video will be completely dark until the instrument returns to the foreground.

The idea isn’t just about privacy: it could help produce content using Android devices, including even tutorials and software disclosure clips. In addition to the privacy setting, the user can choose before recording if they want to also record sound and screen touches.

Android 14 is already in beta testing for devices in the line Google Pixel and from some of the company’s partner manufacturers such as Xiaomi, Realme and Vivo.

In addition to screenshots with more privacy, the operating system will have an automatic function to make photos brighter and more realistic, the ability to turn off full-screen notifications and support for Ultra HDR photos, as well as an updated interface.

The full and stable version of the platform is expected to launch in August 2023 and will be available first for Google’s own family of smartphones and newer models from other brands.
