The German Federal Prosecutor’s Office ordered the arrest of three suspects in connection with the tragedy. Reich Citizens’ Movementfar-right organization of the coup.
These are two men and a woman arrested in the region of Hamburg/Lower Saxony and Freudenstadt, accused of belonging to the milieu Henry XIII Prince Reussfar-right aristocrat arrested in December 2022 for belonging to this group, classified as terrorist organization.
Authorities have taken a number of steps against the group, which claims it does not recognize the German state and has been the target of several raids and searches over the past year.
Some members of the movement were accused of try to overthrow the executive branch and planning the kidnapping of Health Minister Karl Lauterbach.
More than twenty suspects were arrested last December, including Birgit Malsack-Winckemann, a former member of the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD) party.
Those arrested belong to said organization, whose alleged leaders have been identified as “Rüdiger” and “Prince Henry XIII”. The latter will be the great-great-grandson of German Emperor Wilhelm II, the last German Emperor and King of Prussia, who was forced to abdicate in 1918 after the First World War.
The goal of the “Reichburger” was to restore 19th century I Reich by political and armed means using the personnel of the Armed Forces. (Europe Press).
