A large-scale meeting of FPV drone manufacturers took place in Lviv with representatives of flight schools, local authorities and the army.
Ukrinform correspondent reported that more than 30 Ukrainian developers presented their products at the “Angry Birds” conference.
“More than 30 manufacturers have registered for the conference. There are about 250 people among the participants, and there are inventors who have not yet had the courage to present their products, but here they gain experience and share life tips with other engineers. And the industry is developing. Of course, there is the unmanned aviation industry in Ukraine. It’s too early to tell but it’s developing very quickly. Before the full-scale invasion we had up to 10 producers, now we have more than 200 that we can choose from as part of the Angry Birds campaign. Lyubov Shipovych, co-founder of the Dignitas Charitable Foundation and initiator of the event, said, “And “Many of them are already in mass production and can assemble more than 100 drones per month.”

For the first time in its history, and for the second time after the capital, the Lviv region hosted a demonstration day of Ukrainian manufacturers of FPV drones – drones controlled by a special headset with the function of transmitting video in real time. While the developer presentations were made on the stage, the Ukrainian drones could be seen up close at the stands. Promotional flights were also carried out at the event.
The organizers of the event stated that the need for drones on the front is more than 200,000, but this figure is not fixed, because drones are needed many times during an attack.
Maria Berlinska, a Ukrainian military officer and head of the Victory Drones project, said that a drone often saves the entire company. “The more drones, the more live people,” she stressed.
The event was organized jointly with the Lviv Regional Military Administration on the initiative of the Dignitas Fund and Victory Drones.
The event is part of a wide-ranging all-Ukrainian meeting for “Angry Birds” attack helicopters. Since March 10, within the framework of the initiative, about 30 million hryvnia has been collected, which is necessary to purchase 1,000 Ukrainian-made FPV aircraft and to establish a seamless system for the production of such unmanned aerial vehicles in our country.
As reported by Ukrinform, mass production of its own E-300 Enterprise and D-80 Discovery unmanned aerial vehicles has started in Ukraine. After successful certification, AeroDrone signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense to supply these UAVs to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
