The WhatsApp team has finally launched the long-awaited feature, namely the ability to edit sent messages.

This innovation will allow users to change the text of their messages within 15 minutes after sending. At the same time, you no longer have to worry that the recipient will see the first text.

However, it will not be possible to completely hide the fact that the text has been changed: edited messages will be marked with the “edited” label to ensure transparency of the process.

The editing process is simple and intuitive across all platforms. Android users can tap and hold the desired message, then tap More options and select Edit.

For iPhone owners, it is enough to do the same – simply select the “Edit” option after a long press on the message.

Meanwhile, the new function is being used gradually. Initially, WhatsApp was available to testers and is now available to users all over the world.
