Google seems increasingly interested in demonstrating a desire to focus on large-screen devices such as foldable phones and tablets. Android Expert Mishaal Rahman this week introduced new compatibility features for the physical keyboards that are used on the device..
Available for Pixel phones a few weeks ago, Android 14 Beta 2 has already introduced a number of new features to the operating system, with improved screen recording capabilities and a major improvement in split screen mode. Nevertheless, Rahman said other configurations could already be tested by users..
Exclusive Changes for Large Screen Users
According to a social media expert, Android 14 Beta 2 already has a number of keyboard shortcuts. They have been improved by Google, but are only available on larger screen devices that have access to a test version of the operating system that is not yet available to users.
It replaces the list of shortcuts in Android 13 found under Settings -> System -> Languages & Input -> Physical Keyboard. If you are using Android 14, there will be a slight change in the settings menu and you will need to go to Settings -> System -> Keyboard -> Physical Keyboard to access the new menus.
