Amazon introduced the Fire Max 11 pro Upgrade your tablet lineup. The new model increases the screen size and resolution compared to the Fire HD 10, which leads the line so far, includes a more powerful SoC, better cameras and connectivity, has an amount of memory and storage that we can consider sufficient, and offers optional accessories. added for productivity tasks.
Amazon’s range of electronic tablets is well known remarkable function-price ratio. The series starts with versions under 100 euros, which further decreases in special events that the e-commerce giant brings from time to time. It’s no wonder they’re leading the way in sales of entry-level Android tablets.
The Fire Max 11 is something else. It’s the company’s biggest, most powerful and most versatile tablet to date. It is based on a multi-touch screen 11 inches with the native resolution extended up to 2000 x 1200 pixels. An Amazon Stylus Pen with USI 2.0 support and 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity can be optionally purchased. Amazon also offers a removable magnetic keyboard as an option.
Its chipset has also been upgraded to a MediaTek MT8188J with an 8-core CPU (2 ARM Cortex-A78 at 2.2 GHz and 6 Cortex-A55 at 2 GHz) with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU at 950 MHz. It is accompanied by 4 GB of RAM and internal storage of 64 or 128 GB.
It mounts rear and front cameras, both 8 megapixels, and supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless standards. It has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, but no headphone jack. Amazon says the body is made in aluminum and “tempered glass” for a weight of 490 grams with a battery (we don’t know its capacity), which the manufacturer will offer autonomy up to 14 hours.
At the bottom, it has a set of pogo pins dedicated to connecting a keyboard without relying on a Bluetooth connection, and a USB Type-C connector for charging and data. It’s also Amazon’s first tablet to feature a fingerprint reader for security and authentication tasks.
Pre-installed with the latest version of Fire OS, Amazon’s own system on Android, the tablet will be available in several versions depending on storage capacity and if it includes the aforementioned accessories. The advertised dollar prices are as attractive as the rest of the line:
It can already be reserved in some regions and we hope it will be available soon on Amazon Spain and other markets.
