Intel has introduced the new version of the NUC 13 Pro, its most advanced mini-PC, now with the “Desk Edition” version increased visual appeal when placing it on the desktop and changing the port location or customization.

There’s a Mini-PC menu that bores you. They are the only ones that continue to grow in the large group of OEM desktops and record the best sales together with notebooks. Intel’s NUCs are a great reference that other manufacturers are following and now introducing a new version.

Intel NUC 13 Pro “Desk Edition”

Codenamed “Vivid Canyon,” this variant is similar to the NUC 13 Pro “Atlas Canyon” announced in March, and features 13th Gen Core processors, Raptor Lake, and plenty of hardware add-ons, including those that mount the vPro 13 Gen Processors as well different formats, ready-to-use configurations and also bare bones.

The big difference lies in the silver chassis and white cover, which breaks away from the NUC’s finishes and makes it more visually appealing. We also see new vents and port placement changes.

Supported processors are “U” or “P” series, inclusive Core i3-1315U, Core i5-1340P or Core i7-1360P. They are equipped with two SODIMM slots for storing up to 64 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM. In terms of storage, they include an M.2 2280 slot for installing a PCIe Gen 4 x4 SSD. His connectivity is quite complete:

Intel offers it in configurations built with Windows 11 Home pre-installed, starting with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. versions are also available Bare bones so that the user can connect his own memory, storage unit and operating system with Windows 10/11 and GNU/Linux support.
