Ukraine joined the govtech association of the European Union Govtech4all.

As reported by Ukrinform, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Telegram.

According to him, one of Govtech4all’s goals is to increase the efficiency of government processes through digitization.

“So, we have a common goal – to create more digital products so that citizens can receive convenient and humane government services without queues and bureaucracy. In the first stage, three pilot projects will be developed, which are planned to be implemented between 2023 and 2025. They will be allocated 6 million euros” said.

As the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized, “The govtech products incubator was launched during the Digital Transformation Summit in Brussels, where I talked about Ukraine’s digital experience. How, in three years, we have completely changed the philosophy of public services. And today Ukraine is working to develop innovative solutions together and achieve the best results. It is ready to share expertise with European partners”.

14 countries and 21 partner organizations joined Govtech4all. Among them are the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the Ukraine Startup Fund. Also, Ukraine is the first non-EU country to be part of Govtech4all.

Fedorov thanked Paul Hofheinz, chairman and co-founder of the Lisbon Council, for his invitation and his belief in digital Ukraine.

As reported by Ukrinform, at the NATO-Ukraine Working Group on Cooperation in Science and Environmental Protection held in Brussels, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov and NATO Deputy Secretary General for Recent Security Issues David van Wiel discussed bilateral high-level dialogue in the field of technologies.
