Windows 11 has been on the market for over two years. The operating system, which has been very successful since Windows 11, has brought many features that we are used to from smartphones to our computers. Although this new version has increased the number of useful features similar to those found in smartphones, it is lacking in some areas. Fortunately, Microsoft is doing everything it can to rectify this situation. Microsoft is currently testing a new feature in Windows 11 Insider Preview that will allow users to easily share their Wi-Fi passwords with others.

Windows 11 has many useful features. However, not one of them looked at registered Wi-Fi networks and passwords. Fortunately, this is changing. Microsoft has launched a new Windows 11 Insider Preview build that offers a feature that allows users to view all saved Wi-Fi passwords.

Previously, users had to use a third-party tool or examine the registry to find their Wi-Fi passwords. With this new feature, it’s now much easier to find your Wi-Fi passwords when you need to share them with someone or if you’ve forgotten them. Users will soon be able to view their Wi-Fi passwords in very simple steps.

To view your saved Wi-Fi passwords, open the Settings app and go to Network & Internet > Wi-Fi. In the “Manage Known Networks” section, you will see a list of all Wi-Fi networks your computer has previously connected to. To view a network’s password, select the password and click the View Wi-Fi Security Key button. The password will be displayed in plain text.
