It was noted that on June 9, NASA astronauts Steve Bowen and Woody Hoburg will depart to install an elevated IROSA (International Space Station Roll-Out Solar Array) solar panel in the 1A power channel on the starboard side of the station.
This spacewalk will be Bowen’s ninth and Hoburg’s first.
On June 15, the same pair of astronauts will deploy IROSA on supply channel 1B on the starboard side of the station.
Each spacewalk begins at 9:15 am (US time – ed.) and lasts approximately six and a half hours.
As reported by Ukrinform, Virgin Galactic company successfully carried out the fifth test space flight.
