China has successfully launched the manned Shenzhou-16 spacecraft into space.
China successfully launched the Shenzhou 16 manned spacecraft into Earth orbit from the Jiuquan Cosmodrome in the northwest of the country on Tuesday morning, May 30.

This was reported by Xinhua with reference to Ukrinform’s correspondent, China State Administration of Manned Cosmonautics (CMSA).

The spacecraft was launched into space by a Long March-2F launch vehicle launched at 9:31 am (Beijing time).

About 10 minutes after launch, Shenzhou-16 left the rocket and continued on its own into the designated orbit.

The three crew members, two of whom are Chinese Air Force officers and a first-time civilian, are doing well.

After entering the given orbit, the ship will perform a rapid automatic approach and docking at the Chinese space station Tiangong.

The magnates of the Shenzhou-16 mission will spend more than five months in orbit and will conduct large-scale orbital tests and experiments in various fields according to plan. Especially. They will study new quantum phenomena, high-precision spatio-temporal systems, and explore the general theory of relativity and the origin of life.

Colleagues from the previous Shenzhou-15 team, who have been in space since November 29 last year and are in good health and waiting to meet with their colleagues, will return to Earth.

The Shenzhou-16 manned flight was the 29th flight and the 475th flight of the Long March series launch vehicles since the start of China’s manned space program.

As Ukrinform reported, following the successful launch of its mission to study Mars two years ago, the UAE space agency plans to send a ship to the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, which is considered one of the most intriguing space objects in the Solar System. .
