Keeping the iCUE platform up-to-date is essential not only for it to function properly, but also for it to continue to provide a good user experience. Corsair knows this, and that’s why announced a fundamental renewal of the said platform which brings important improvements affecting both the installer and startup and configuration.

The first thing that stands out is the significant reduction in the size of the iCUE installer as well as the installation file of the said tool. This was possible because thanks iCUE’s new modular architectureand the process of recognizing the components and peripherals we useand this way it will contain only the settings that are necessary for everyone.

If we want to expand the capabilities of iCUE, no problem, we can install other modules such as NVIDIA Broadcast, as well as other third-party lighting controls to create a more customized iCUE interface. Thanks to this new plugin now we can do a lot more thingssuch as changing lighting profiles on the fly, viewing temperatures and PC stats, or adjusting CORSAIR fan speed and cooling preferences, microphone mute, EQ and surround sound adjustment, and NVIDIA Broadcast control.
