According to Ukrinform, this was announced in Telegram, Deputy Prime Minister responsible for Innovations, Education, Science and Technology Development – Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.

There are also plans to organize a complete power outage and take the Ukrainians offline. Thanks to the massive work of the communicators, 91% of the mobile networks are working. “Millions of Ukrainians, He stays in touch with his relatives, knowing that everything is fine with them.”

Fedorov explained that there are 35,000 base stations in Ukraine and more than 3,000 of them were damaged/destroyed by the Russian invaders; 1,800 has already been restored. Overall, UAH 2.2 billion is required to return the telecom industry to its pre-war state.

“Quality communication allows the military to communicate quickly with each other. Also get information from drones and situational awareness systems. I thank the Ukrainian telecom front, who risk their life under fire almost every day.”

As reported, the Ministry of Digital Transformation has provided high-speed Internet to more than 1 million Ukrainians in 3,268 villages since the launch of the “Internet Subsidy” project in 2021.
