ASUS introduced the ROG Swift OLED PG49WCD at Computex to expand its line of monitors. And we’re running out of qualifications because it is impressive in size, design and features.

I can’t be objective because I love ultra wide. I decided on this format a while ago to restore a multi-monitor system I was using and it was a complete success. I work (and play) with one the same size as the ASUS in question, and the truth is I’m not changing it. I wish there were more natively supported games and that’s the only thing I miss. The monitor has a special cooling system (passive without fans) that prevents high temperatures of the OLED panel and thus increases its lifespan.

It is used for gaming but also for any other computer use. And includes a SmartKVM Allows you to control two computers with one keyboard and one mouse. It includes DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 input ports, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports for connecting peripherals and storage devices, and a USB Type-C port with 90W Power Delivery for charging mobile devices.

The monitor includes an easily accessible joystick for changing its settings, but all parameters can also be customized using the ASUS DisplayWidget Center control application.
