A private team of astronauts, two Americans and two Saudis, has safely landed on the Florida coast and ended an eight-day research mission aboard the International Space Station

A SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule has parachuted into the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Panama City, Florida, after a 12-hour flight from the ISS and re-entering Earth’s atmosphere.
The landing was broadcast live in a joint webcast by SpaceX and Axiom Space, which organized the mission.

It was the completion of the second mission of the space station, organized, equipped and prepared entirely at private expense by Axiom, a 7-year-old Houston company led by the former head of NASA’s ISS program.
“It was an extraordinary journey. We really enjoyed it,” crew chief, retired NASA astronaut Peggy Whitson told mission controllers minutes after landing.
As Ukrinform reports, SpaceX sent tourists from Florida to the International Space Station. The crewed Crew Dragon spacecraft docked with the International Space Station (ISS) on May 22.
