A few days ago, Microsoft released a preview version Developer Housewhich is basically the solution focused on developers therefore, they can have a centralized location for configuration and access to tasks related to software development. One of the features of Dev Home is that it also introduces new widgets for Windows 11 that you can use to monitor CPU, GPU, RAM usage and more.

While it’s already possible to monitor operating system resources using the Task Manager, it’s nice to see the Widget Bar getting more useful options for users.

How to get new widgets for Windows 11

Users interested in getting the new widgets to monitor CPU, GPU, RAM and more in Windows 11 need to install the Dev Home preview first. Do this by doing the following:

– click by this link to access the Microsoft Store and install the Dev Home preview (initial development page in Portuguese).

– With Dev Home installed, open the widget panel after a few seconds and you’ll see a notification like the one below mentioning that a new widget is available:

– Click “Add Now” to open the Widget Picker and see which ones are available. Then just press the button To correct to add the desired widget:

It’s important to note that since Dev Home is still in its testing phase, the new widgets introduced by it are still a bit limited and don’t offer many customization options:
