According to the news of Ukrinform, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation Oleksandr Bornyakov announced this on Facebook.
“Over 230 designs have been submitted to Brave1. This is the result of a month since the platform went live. At the same time, dozens of them have already passed the military exam, some quickly went to the International Military Academy. In addition, the developments will go into mass production. This was the main goal of the group – to deliver innovative weapons to the front line as soon as possible so that our army can destroy the enemy as efficiently as possible,” he said.
Bornyakov noted that international support has been drawn within the cluster for Ukrainian developers to receive expertise and advice from the world’s best experts. In particular, NATO partners are planned to be involved in this process.
As a reminder, Brave1 is a joint venture of the Ministry of Defense, the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces, the National Security and Defense Council, the Ministry of Digital, the Ministry of Strategic Industries and the Ministry of Economy. Its purpose is to encourage and support the development of companies working in the field of defense technologies.
The cluster offers enterprise and expert development support, as well as access to accelerators and incubators. It is about systematic work on improving developments, increasing knowledge on business scaling, creating value for investors, and mentoring. Developers will also have access to the R&D resource center that will assist with required components, tests and equipment.
