The tool is part of the company’s Falcon platform. The chatbot uses generative AI and is trained on data from CrowdStrike itself. The bot allows both security specialists and less technical profiles to find their way through the security data associated with Falcon. This makes it clearer more quickly what risks a company is taking and what remedies are available.
Since the chatbot works with natural language, it is possible to work with threats at a reasonable level with less experience. According to CrowdStrike, a new security analyst, such as a Tier 1 SoC employee, can outperform a more advanced analyst. In response to specific questions, Charlotte generates a dashboard in which relevant data is immediately visible.
Charlotte AI is currently being tested as part of a private preview with several customers of the security specialist.
