US company Apple has denied allegations that Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) is collaborating with US intelligence services to track Russian iPhone users.
As reported by Ukrinform, this was reported by Reuters.
The company said in a statement that Apple does not and will not work with any government to install classified software on any Apple product.
The Russian Interfax agency noted that yesterday the FSB announced that it had uncovered an operation by the Americans.
Special services related to “the use of malicious programs installed on Apple equipment” and “several thousand devices are infected” in Russia.
As Ukrinform reported, at the beginning of May, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) discovered and neutralized the malicious program package “Snake” used by the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation.
