Brave 1.52 It is a new version of the lion browser, which is known for its focus on privacy and the crypto world, although in this edition that concerns us, its main novelty is practical, which is also very good. And it’s not the only one.

It’s also worth noting that this new version of Brave is coming in the heat of the moment Chromium 114, the foundation on which it is based is worth redundancy, and from which it takes its core messages, worth insisting on. Chrome 114 is an example, although only the peak of this launch is yet to come on Brave. In any case, Brave has its tools in this regard, which are none other than the aforementioned privacy protection.

However, Brave 1.52 is coming on a different schedule, and while it has changes and improvements that point to the two usual focuses, functionality is the star of this release. To highlight, vertical tabs, a feature that has already appeared in other browsers, and which Brave is now implementing in a similar way, but with its own twist. By default yes, the option used is the classic horizontal tab bar.

Vertical tabs are visible as they are in the image above these lines and are of course recommended for large screen scenarios where there is more horizontal space. However, it was included option to collapse the bar, so the wasted space is further reduced. When collapsed, the tabs only display the site icon and their view acts as a browser sidebar, opening when the cursor is hovered over.

How to turn vertical tabs on and off? Either from the bookmarks section in the appearance section of the application configuration, or through context menu of the card, a faster method. Note that when you use vertical tabs, they will sit on the left side, displacing the regular browser sidebar where bookmarks, reading list, and so on are located on the right.

Finally, this new version of Brave brings another novelty, as curious as the possibility copy the text from the image, a known feature that the browser currently only implements for Windows users.
