The new BatteryManager feature is already available in the settings of Google Pixel smartphones running Android 14 Beta 2. Google also plans to provide this feature to developers so they can create battery analysis apps for other smartphones.

With BatteryManager you will be able to control various parameters of the battery, such as charge cycles, date of manufacture of the battery, date of first charge on the network, state of charge and other data.

A similar feature that indicates battery wear has been used on the iPhone for over five years. It is currently unknown when BatteryManager will be available to all Android users.

The stable version of Android 14 is expected to be released in the fall of 2023.
