A new Axios Harris Poll has revealed that Samsung has overtaken Apple as the most popular brand among Americans. The May 2023 survey asked Americans to rate their favorite brands based on a variety of factors, including quality, value, and customer service. Samsung scored an overall score of 84.6, while Apple scored an overall score of 83.0.
For the first time, Samsung surpassed Apple in the polls. In 2022, Apple was the leading brand, with Samsung in second place. However, it is important to note that this does not mean that Americans prefer Samsung Galaxy phones to iPhones. Samsung offers a wider range of products than Apple.
While the company manufactures everything from smartphones to TVs and smart home appliances, Apple focuses heavily on smartphones and computers. This gives Samsung broader appeal to consumers.
