The release of Debian 12, also known by the codename Bookworm, will take place next Saturday, June 10, and according to Phoronix, this is a “dubious” move, as the RC version (release candidate for its acronym in English) It arrives with about 100 bugs waiting to be fixed.

According to the Debian 12 development team:

There are still about 100 known bugs in the RC version that affect Debian 12, but we have accepted the release with those bugs. Most of them will be mentioned in the release notes. There will no doubt be more issues after release when running on multiple systems.”
