Apple’s highly anticipated developer conference WWDC 2023 officially kicks off today. The technology giant brought us many new products and services, both hardware and software, in recent minutes.

In addition to iOS17, iPadOS 17, watchOS 10, macOS 14 and tvOS 17 were also introduced at the event. Below are all the features that come with the new versions of the iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Apple TV operating systems.

Meet the brand new macOS 14 “Sonoma”:

The event introduced the new version of macOS, the operating system that powers Apple computers, starting with the 15-inch MacBook Air and the brand new Mac Pro.

The new macOS 14 version is named “Sonoma”. The new version of the operating system comes with great features that especially delight gamers. But innovations are not limited to these.

Toolkits coming to Mac computers:

The Start screen toolkits, which have long existed on Windows computers, are now coming to Mac computers as well. The new macOS 14 Sonoma allows MacBook users to add many widgets to their home screen.

Each of these toolkits can also be interactive tools. This way, users can interact with toolkits and folders and have much more flexible usage scenarios.

The widgets can also be accessed from iPhones connected to the same network as the computer.

With macOS, Apple brought another feature called “game mode” to computers. Game Mode reduces audio latency on Mac computers and doubles the Bluetooth sampling process on Xbox and PlayStation controllers.

It also came with macOS, a new developer kit that allows games to be ported to Mac. The biggest surprise that came with the game was the appearance of Hideo Kojima, one of the greatest representatives of this world. Kojima announced that Death Stranding Director’s Cut is coming to Mac computers.

With macOS 14, some innovations welcome us to video calls. The new “Presenter Overlay” feature allows presenters to put screen sharing behind their own images. In addition, AR effects can be created on the camera image.

These AR effects can also be triggered by gestures and hand gestures. For example, if you make the thumbs up gesture with both hands, fireworks will explode on the screen.

With macOS 14 there will be significant changes to the Safari browser on Macs. Safari users can now create profiles. Bookmarks marked in these profiles are also profile specific. In addition, the passwords stored in the browser can be shared with family members.

Apple has announced that iPadOS is getting a long-awaited feature. The popular “Health” application from iPhones will also appear on iPads.

Apple has announced that a much-requested feature is coming to iPadOS 17. Customizable lock screen features introduced with iOS 16 are coming to iPad. Slow motion effect wallpapers, improved widgets and more are included in the new OS version.

Other innovations coming with iPadOS:

  • Extracts from PDF files can be obtained.
  • Access Siri by simply saying “Siri” without saying “Hey”.
  • AirPlay now works on supported TVs and files can be transferred between iPad and iPad.
  • The Maps app can now be used offline.
