A apple presented at the opening of the conference WWDC 2023 this Monday (5) new app that will debut on iOS 17the next version of the iPhone mobile operating system.
It’s about Magazine (or Dailyin the Portuguese version), an application that serves as a kind of more organized personal and individual diary that helps you catalog and record all the activities that have been done during the day.
In addition to the registration form, the company also wants you to use the service to improve the quality of life by supplementing its information with information from other applications, such as the iOS Health Service. The idea is that you have a more complete picture of your daily life to understand if the week was productive or if you managed to devote time to personal affairs, for example.
With this tool, you log different moments of your day – places visited, exercise done, photos taken, podcasts listened to and many other activities organized in an intuitive and user-friendly interface. More details on how the platform works should be released in the coming weeks.
Notifications at the beginning and end of the day (with times configured by you) remind the user not to leave the diary in the bank. In addition, the platform will give you some personalized suggestions to inspire you from the contents of the device itself, “reading” what you have shared in terms of images, messages, music, activities and location.
Because the content can be very personal, Diary end-to-end encryption to store your data, and all information is stored locally only on your device, while you can configure what information the log can read in other installed applications in order to make such offers.
The app will be released with iOS 17mobile operating system, which should debut shortly before the new iPhones hit the market – something that should happen around September 2023following the traditional company calendar.
