• On the night of June 6, Russian invaders blew up the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station (HEPP). Due to the eruption, water from the Dnipro River flooded several settlements in the Kherson region, leading to significant destruction and displacement of local residents.

• The explosion at Kakhovskaya HEPP caused fears about possible flooding of power plants in the Kherson region. However, the Department of Energy assured that the power system is currently stable.

• Meanwhile, the situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant is being closely monitored. Despite the gradual lowering of the water level, officials say there is currently no direct threat to the station.

• Unfortunately, the flooding has already caused nearly 12,000 consumers to faint in the area. In addition, there are concerns about possible problems with the water supply. Authorities urge citizens to be vigilant and take the necessary measures to ensure their safety.
