Microsoft has announced that it has added a feature long sought after by users to Bing, which is powered by artificial intelligence. With the latest update, voice chat can now be performed from the desktop with the browser’s chatbot.

The new feature currently only supports certain languages, including English, Japanese, French, German, and Chinese. Microsoft adds that there will be more language support in the future.
Microsoft’s introduction of voice mode for Bing Chat on the desktop comes as the company prepares to withdraw support for Cortana, the digital assistant in Windows. The company recently announced that the assistant will be disconnected at the end of this year.
