Adobe is now also integrating its AI generator Firefly into Illustrator, whose main function is generative coloring.

It seems that Adobe’s mission this year is to make its Firefly AI generator known to all users as much as possible. Instead of a broad introduction to all tools, the software provider announces the integration step by step. After Photoshop and Adobe Express, Illustrator is the third tool bringing Firefly AI on board.

The most important innovation is the generative coloring. With it, Illustrator suggests accurate color variations as you develop graphics for advertising, online content, packaging, and more. By passing on the desired colors in text form, Firefly AI automatically colors them in Illustrator.

Organizations that already have a set of colors in their brand strategy can use them to train the AI ​​in Firefly. The result should be more assets that fit the brand.

Adobe subtly emphasized in the announcement that unlike other online AI image generators, Firefly’s results in Illustrator are copyright-safe for commercial use. The brand is even so sure that it wants to support business customers with the legal costs in the event of damage.
