The new TeamConnect Bar from Sennheiser with integrated microphones and webcam is at home in small and medium-sized co-working spaces.

Sennheiser announced its latest hybrid collaboration solution at a virtual launch event. With the TeamConnect Bar, Sennheiser is expanding the product range of the same name with its first all-in-one solution that combines audio and video. The device is available in two versions: The TC Bar S is intended for small rooms, the TC Bar M fits in a medium-sized room.

From small to medium

The difference between the two models is the number of microphones and speakers. The Bar S has four microphones and two loudspeakers, the Bar M has six microphones and four loudspeakers. Both devices feature a 4K Ultra HD camera, complemented by intelligent algorithms to clearly image everyone in the room, even the smallest of gestures and facial expressions.

When it comes to audio technology, Sennheiser is not stingy with trendy terms either. The full-range stereo speakers feature “enhanced polar patterns” and “optimized passive radiators” to bring you the clearest sound. When a colleague takes over, beamforming technology ensures a seamless transition between speakers.

A built-in digital sound processor adapts the sound to the acoustics in the room, with the Sennheiser Control Cockpit app you can also adjust this manually. Finally, the TeamConnect bars have an automatic meeting and music mode switch, so you can also use the device as an office radio between meetings.

The device can be placed in a meeting room in a number of ways: wall-mounted, VESA-mounted, on a table, or free-standing. Additional microphones and cameras can be added. According to Sennheiser, the TC Bars are compatible with multiple meeting platforms; The certification process is ongoing.
