this week Apple TV+ has released the official trailer for the second season of the series Foundationdrama/sci-fi series inspired by the books of the same name Isaac Asimovpublished between 1933 and 1951. The new episodes will be streaming this July.

Foundation is set in a dystopian future where mathematician Hari Seldon, played by Jared Harris (from Chernobyl), invents a new technique that predicts that the days of the Galactic Empire are connected. The production shows the space journey of a group of exiles trying to save humanity during the fall.

The new year takes place a century after the end of the first season, where tensions mount and an intergalactic battle is brewing. In the story, a vengeful queen plans to destroy the Empire from within, while Hari, Gaal and Salvor discover a colony of mentalists with special abilities that threaten to change psychohistory itself.

It is worth noting that the first full season of the series, created by David S. Goyer (from Blade – Vampire Hunter) and Josh Friedman (from Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) is available on Apple’s streaming service.

The Foundation will debut on the Apple TV+ platform for the second year in July 14, 2023. Check out the trailer for the new season of Foundation below.
