Using voice commands with Alexa is pretty easy. To set a general reminder, say “Alexa, create a new reminder.” She will ask what the reminder is for and when you would like to receive the reminder. You can save time by providing all the details at once.

For example, say “Alexa, remind me to call my mom tomorrow at noon” or “Alexa, set a reminder to turn off the pressure cooker in 15 minutes.” Alexa will repeat your message to confirm the reminder setting.

You can set up recurring reminders with simple voice commands such as: “Alexa, please remind me to take out the trash every Monday at 7:00 pm.” However, you cannot set monthly or specific date reminders using voice commands.
