First, the HP subsidiary is launching the Voyager Surround 80 UC, the brand’s first headphone to carry the “Microsoft Teams Open Office” certificate.

In practice, this means that the headphones are designed for use in a busy, noisy office environment. The adaptive ANC ensures that you can break away from the hustle and bustle when needed and the microphone also filters out unnecessary auditory stimuli, so you can take a call perfectly from your desk. The headphones also have intelligent algorithms on board to automatically answer calls.

Poly states that you can talk for up to 21 hours after charging. The Poly Voyager Surround 80 is expected to be available worldwide in August, starting at $449.95. Prices for the European market are not yet known.

In the hybrid office you need more than just good headphones. That’s why Poly is launching the Studio X52, an all-in-one video bar with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet certifications. The 4K 20 MP webcam in the bar has Director AITechnology on board for automatic framing. This will cover all corners of the room to allow a good view of everyone. The Poly Studio X52 will ship towards the end of the summer with a suggested retail price of $4,300.

We almost forgot to mention the software. Poly will soon release a major update to the video operating system. In version 4.1, as an administrator, you can enter the dimensions of a meeting room. The aforementioned DirectorAI then stays neatly within that perimeter, preventing outsiders walking past a glass wall from accidentally confusing the algorithms. Poly also deals with reverb and echoes.
