In an interview for the YouTube channel, Twitter founder Jack Dorsey said he was concerned about the consequences that virtual reality glasses could have on humanity in the future, and feared the worst. His statement is at odds with Apple’s recently announced “Vision Pro” virtual reality glasses, which promise to completely change our relationship with technology and bring innovative interactions.
According to Dorsey, we will have a future similar to what we saw in the movie Wall-E if we continue this sequence of events. “This is the future we are heading towards where everyone sits on floating chairs and drinks our food through a straw, constantly consuming entertainment 24/7. You can see how everyone is going down this path.”
