Just a few days ago, Google decided to officially release the beta version of Android Auto 9.8 so that some users can test it before the stable release. It seems that everything worked as it should, because Google just released an update for this system from your Play Store.

This is good news in itself, as each update fixes some bugs in previous versions, but we already anticipate that there won’t be any cosmetic changes compared to Android Auto 9.7, so we’ll have to settle for: slightly higher performance but no visible innovation for the user

As we just said, although this is a new update for the Android Auto system, innovations at the aesthetic level draw attention with their absence. In fact, we continue to miss new features like items seen in previous betas, such as a redesign of settings with Material You or the setting to change the app that opens at startup.

Again, everything that has changed with this new version is next to minor fixes for the game. System performance in our tools to prevent forced shutdowns or phone disconnections. It’s true that this isn’t a revolution, but we welcome anything that improves the user experience.
