Xiaomi has launched a new budget smart TV called Xiaomi TV EA43 2023 in China. As the name suggests, it’s the 2023 version of the already existing 2022 model. The latest TV costs the same as its predecessor and has almost all the features. In fact, it only comes with one notable upgrade.

Features of Xiaomi EA43 2023 TV

Xiaomi TV EA43 was officially launched earlier today. The product was not advertised on social networks. Embedded directly on the website of the online store. Like its predecessor, this TV has a metal frame and 1080p (FHD) display. The panel measures 43 inches diagonally with a 96.7% screen-to-body ratio.

The LED-backlit LCD screen has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. There is no HDR support and the viewing angle is 178°. Additionally, the TV runs on an unnamed 64-bit chipset paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. This quad-core chip is an upgrade of the Amlogic dual-core chip found in the previous model.

Thanks to the improved chipset, the TV supports dual-band Wi-Fi, which is not available in its predecessor. There is also Bluetooth, 2 x HDMI, AV, 2 x USB, S/PDIF, antenna and Ethernet. Finally, the TV launches MIUI for TV 3.0 and includes 2 x 8W speakers (16W) with DTS-HD support.

Xiaomi TV EA43 2023 is priced at 799 Yen (~$110) in China. It is currently listed for sale on Xiaomi Youpin. It should appear at other vendors in the coming days. Similar to other Xiaomi TV EA models, this one too may not reach global markets.
