You’ve probably heard of Pavel Durov’s plans to launch Telegram Premium. This is a paid subscription to the messenger that slightly expands its functionality. Today we have a fairly large list of privileges that users will receive with a paid subscription:
- Special icon next to name.
- Full screen stickers.
- Increasing the number of channels and supergroups a user can have from 500 to 1000.
- 200 chats in a folder instead of the standard 100.
- Increase the number of folders from 10 to 20.
- 10 fixed chats instead of 5 and 200 fixed chat messages instead of 100.
- 20 public links instead of 10 for channels and supergroups.
- 10 selected stickers instead of 5.
As you can see, the subscription does not give anything serious, so casual users are unlikely to feel at a disadvantage compared to those who pay Premium. This is probably not the final list of paid bonuses, so we’ll be keeping a close eye on news on this.
