LG held an event in Sao Paulo to unveil its latest home video lineup for 2023 to the press. Among the highlights, the South Korean company detailed webOS 23 newsa system that will be built into the 2023 TV lineup.

According to the company, webOS 23 comes with a new panel with smart and personalized resources so that the consumer can get the most out of their LG TV. With a clean and modern design, the new system contains several innovations.

Organization and customization improvements

The first novelty is fast cardsthat organize your content and apps with customizable cards for your moment. For example, a TV can display apps like Twitch and GeForce Now on the Game Map, or streams like Prime Video, Apple TV, and HBO Max on the Entertainment Map.

In addition, the system has quick settings, as the new side tab is even more customizable, you can now place up to 12 items within reach with a single click. webOS 23 also has the ability musical discoverywhich serves to facilitate the search for music while watching movies and series.

It’s also possible create up to 10 individual profiles according to everyone’s personal taste and customize the avatar and other settings. Thanks to the My Profile feature, the TV knows what content each user loves and offers personalized notifications and recommendations. Built-in LG ThinQ AI

To finish, the brand is also betting on a connectivity app. LG ThinQexclusive technology designed to allow consumers to access and control electronics remotely and even with voice commands.

With LG ThinQ, LG Smart TVs get another connectivity option that makes them special when it comes to AI. In addition, through the Home Hub menu, you can control all the smart devices in your home that support ThinQ AI or OCF certified products. All this with a remote control or mobile phone through the LG ThinQ app.

The TVs also have an Apple Home Kit for full integration with the Apple ecosystem. While Apple Air Play allows you to stream, control and share content from your iPhone, iPad or Mac to your TV.
