Xiaomi announced this week that launches more affordable version of Redmi Note 12 Turbo, originally released in March of this year. The new version of the popular smartphone, which until now was available in 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB storage options, now comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The new device presented by the manufacturer is available at a price of 1799 yuan, about 1198 reais in direct conversion., excluding taxes. For now, the new variant is only available for the Chinese market, but there are real chances that this more affordable variant will make its way to the global market.

Redmi Note 12 Turbo, also known worldwide as POCO F5, has a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device offers an immersive viewing experience with 100% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support and an impressive 93.45% screen-to-body ratio.

To control heat dissipation, the smartphone is equipped with a 3725mm diameter cooling vapor chamber. The 5000mAh battery supports 67W fast charging. In terms of cameras, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo has three sensors on the back: a 64MP main lens with support for optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro lens.

In terms of connectivity, the device supports dual 5G, WiFi-6, NFC, Bluetooth, IR blaster, and 3.5mm headphone jack, meeting a variety of connectivity needs. The Redmi Note 12 Turbo measures 161.11 x 74.95 x 7.9mm and weighs 181g.
