Opera One reaches a wider audience. The secret of the browser is Aria, a built-in GPT integration.
Opera will introduce its new browser Opera One in February. After a limited testing period, the browser is ready for the general public. Opera One has an updated design and loads of new browser features.
Of course, the most notable addition is Aria, an AI assistant based on OpenAI’s GPT models that’s hidden in the taskbar. Like its ChatGPT cousin, you can ask Aria questions as you browse, and he’ll scour the web for the best information for you. Opera previously showed a feature that allows you to summarize websites using AI. Aria can also be found in the Android mobile version of the browser.
The latest Opera browser isn’t just about AI either. The modular user interface adapts to active elements in the browser to ensure animations run smoothly. In addition, Opera also introduces “tab islands” to keep your taskbar organized.
Tab islands let you group tabs, similar to tab groups in Edge and Chrome. Tabs open within a group stay connected so related tabs can be easily found.
Want to try the latest version of Opera for yourself? You can download Opera One from the website. The browser is available for Windows, Mac and Linux.
