The first GeForce RTX 4060 costs 339 euros

The German retailer has launched the Palit GeForce RTX 4060 Dual, a graphics card that will use a simple design and will have a clear focus as a budget model, as it will stick very close to the minimum recommended price, which according to NVIDIA will be 335 euros. As you can see in the attached picture, the Palit model will stand 339 euros.

The GeForce RTX 4060 will be a generational refresh, following in the footsteps of the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti, which means it won’t be a significant jump in terms of raw power, since we’re talking about up to 20% improvement in 1080p resolution over GeForce RTX 3060, but it will be much more efficient (115 watts compared to the TGP’s 170 watts) and will have a trick with DLSS 3 support, which will allow it to improve the frame rate by up to 70% compared to the GeForce RTX 3060.

In short, the novelty from NIDIA will be much more efficient, and that much can handle even very weak fonts, gives its best in 1080p resolution and thanks to DLSS 3 it can offer greater fluidity even in demanding games with ray tracing. The truth is that I am looking forward to trying this graphics card and I hope to be able to share with you a detailed analysis of it so that you know, stay tuned in the coming days so you don’t miss anything.

GeForce RTX 4060 Germany price

On a technical level, the GeForce RTX 4060 will retain all the news and all the advances introduced by the Ada Lovelace architecture and will have the following Specifications:

  • Graphics core AD107 in 5nm.
  • 3072 shaders at 2.46 GHz.
  • 96 texturing units.
  • 32 raster units.
  • 96 tensor cores of the fourth generation.
  • 24 cores of the third generation RT.
  • 128-bit memory bus.
  • 8 GB GDDR6 with 272 GB/s bandwidth.
  • 15 TFLOPs of performance in FP32.
  • 24 MB L2 cache (453 GB/s effective).
  • 115 watt TGP, average consumption 110 watts.

Compared to the GeForce RTX 3060, we see a clear reduction of the memory bus and a smaller amount of graphics memory, a deficiency that is compensated for increased L2 cache, which is now able to store larger amounts of data and instructions, reducing VRAM calls and bus dependency. On the other hand, DLSS 3 support represents a clear added value compared to the current generation, and the leap in efficiency is simply spectacular.

Same seller since first listing posted The price went up to 436.99 euros, nonsense because it treads squarely with the price of its older sister, the Ti version.
