OpenAI, the startup that developed the chatbot ChatGPT, plans to open an app store where developers can sell their models based on artificial intelligence.
This was reported by Reuters, Ukrinform reports.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman revealed potential plans for such an app store at a meeting with developers in London last month.
Such an app store could compete with some of the company’s customers and technology partners, including Salesforce and Microsoft, and help OpenAI expand its customer base.
As reported by Ukrinform, the OpenAI initiative announced that it will allocate 10 grants of $100,000, $1 million each, to conduct experiments on the regulation of artificial intelligence technologies.
