Belgian management platform Doccle spreads its wings and crosses the border. Dutch customers can now also use the online services.
With security and cybercrime becoming increasingly important, the company hopes to gain a foothold in the Netherlands with its references (17,500 Belgian customers) and total solution. At Doccle there is a clear goal: within five years the company wants to have four million Dutch users or at least as many radars in our northern neighbors.
Expansion towards the Netherlands is possible thanks to a recent acquisition. Doccle founded the Dutch company Smart Service Company, provider of online data vault solutions. In order to smoothly monitor activities in the Netherlands, the Belgian company opened a new office in Bergen-Op-Zoom. That’s where Otto Lagemaat, the new Dutch director, will start.
With the takeover of the Smart Service Company, Doccle has the opportunity to offer personal data safes in addition to document safes. According to CEO Bram Lerouge, this means “a turbocharger for Doccle’s Belgian strategy in the field of data exchange”.
Another advantage of these data safes is that Doccle now organizes two-way traffic for its customers. Up until now, companies could only receive, save and manage documents in their own account. Now they can also share them with other accounts via a data vault.
Last month, Doccle also gave his blessing to Athumi, the Flemish government’s data vault project. At the end of last year, the company also added the new Itsme Sign feature to its platform for Belgian customers.
