Amazfit has launched the first smartwatch designed for running. Amazfit Cheetah (round) and Cheetah Pro. Equipped with a dual-band MaxTrack GPS antenna, this watch promises high positioning accuracy. In addition, they have several working tools such as Track Run mode and AI training, Bluetooth calling, music playback and Amazon Alexa support.
These two devices have very similar characteristics, cThe Cheetah Pro is distinguished by the material it is made from.. That’s because the most basic version of the Round has fiber reinforced polymer edges, while the Pro is made of titanium to provide even more stability.

Another difference between the two devices is the screen size. Although both are round, the Cheetah Round measures 1.39 inches. Meanwhile, the more powerful version of the smartwatch is slightly larger and measures 1.45 inches. Finally, there is a difference in the bracelet, where one is silicone and the other is nylon.
Perhaps the highlight of one device for another is the fact that the Cheetah Pro has built-in speakers for music playback and other functions. All this made it a little lighter, having 34 grams and 32 grams.
Artificial intelligence can customize workouts
When the device differences run out, all indications are that they came down to looks and durability. This is because both are protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and have a maximum brightness of 1000 nits. One of the great features of the devices is Zepp Coach, an artificial intelligence capable of creating workout plans unique to each type of user.
It can provide personalized workout plans that are adjusted weekly based on the user’s performance and condition. There is also an AI chatbot that recognizes user descriptions in natural language, providing an experience similar to one-on-one training with a real human trainer.

Other features include Virtual Pacer which lets you set a target pace using AI, achievement prediction and a Track Run mode which provides time, distance and pace data for each lap. Its algorithm can adjust your trajectory and distance to match the performance data in the Zepp app with the track you choose.
MaxTrack GPS technology can capture almost all satellite signals and reduces multipath interference for more accurate positioning. In addition, Cheetah users can import a route file from the Zepp app and colorize an offline map of the planned activity area for precise navigation during their run.
They also come with health and fitness features such as sleep, stress, blood oxygen and heart rate monitoring. The devices can be paired with heart rate monitors via Bluetooth for even more accurate heart rate tracking. The smartwatch also automatically detects 25 strength exercises and supports more than 150 indoor and outdoor sports modes.
Amazfit has unveiled the Cheetah range in Europe, where they will start at €229, which equates to around R$1,197 at the current price. The most expensive model costs 299 euros, about 1500 reais. There is no forecast of coming to the Brazilian market.
