GIGABYTE expands its The BRIX series of compact computers with the latest AMD Mobile processors, Ryzen 7000 with ZEN 3 architecture and Radeon graphics.

GIGABYTE BRIX is a series of Mini-PCs from the Taiwanese manufacturer and directly competes with Intel NUCs, which are benchmarks in the compact segment. It updated the lineup with Raptor Lake a few months ago, and now more new models are coming with AMD’s latest for notebooks.

The manufacturer maintains the contained dimensions of the series, in a square design, barely 12 cm. Its uses are wide and range from offices to consumer, through the education sector and can be installed anywhere on the computer desk as well as on the wall or behind VESA-supported monitors.

GIGA offers five different models depending on the selected processor. The brand opted for the more modest Ryzen 7035 and 7030 to include the selling price, although they are still compared to previous models with AMD hardware, and they can equip up to Ryzen 7730U with 8 cores and 16 threads working at higher frequencies. at 4.5 GHz and with a TDP of 15 watts. In all cases, there will be integrated Radeon Vega graphics with RDNA2.

They can install up to 32 GB of RAM on two DDR4 3200 MHz modules. For storage, it has an M.2 connector for PCIe SSD and a 2.5″ slot for increasing capacity with hard drives or SATA SSD.

Its connectivity is very complete, with 2.5 GbE Ethernet LAN for wired network connectivity and Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth for wireless connectivity. It has two HDMI 2.0 video outputs and two additional Display Port 1.4a outputs to allow content to be streamed to up to four monitors simultaneously.

In addition, it has a good number of peripheral ports on the front and back, 2 x USB 3.2 gen2 Type A, 2 x USB 3.2 Gen2 Type C with DP Alt mode and two more USB 2.0 Type A.

The attached configurations will pre-install Windows 11, although we expect versions to be available as well. bare bones for the customer to choose their preferred system as well as the memory and storage they prefer to install.
