Stardew Valley will be added to the Apple Arcade catalog

Apple Arcade, Apple’s subscription gaming service, is slowly but surely he created a really interesting catalog. As a user of it since the debut of the Apple One in Spain, I admit that in its early days its catalog was most incomplete for me, but for some time now I have seen revisions of great classics (Angry Birds, Fruit Ninja , Osmos, Life and others) increasing, along with newer editions and adaptations of titles that have had great success on other platforms.

One of the conditions that games must meet to be included in Apple Arcade is that They should not have advertising or micropayments. So we can find some designs taken from games that have these elements in their normal versions. For anyone fed up with these features that have become so common for some time now, Apple’s design is an oasis in the middle of the desert.

As I said before, society trying to add titles that were particularly relevant to iOS or other platforms. A clear example of this can be found in Gris, one of the most famous and successful indie developments of recent years, which has been part of the Apple Arcade design for some time. And the same can be said for other very different but also hugely successful titles like Football Manager 2023.

Stardew Valley will be added to the Apple Arcade catalog

Well, as we can read in Mashable, those from Cupertino will score a very important goal, namely Stardew Valley will be added to the Apple Arcade catalog starting in July. Let us remind you that the ConcernedApe title has been available for purchase in the App Store for quite some time and that at the beginning of this year it received the last major update 1.5, which arrived in its PC version some time ago.

As someone who has spent more hours than I care to admit on Stardew Valley, a game I bought on both Steam and the App Store at the time, I understand that this game may not be for everyone and that the small size of the iPhone screen in comparison with a computer can be off-putting to those who may have been considering purchasing one. However, its inclusion in the Apple Arcade catalog opens the door for all subscribers, specifically Arcade and Apple One, to finally try it out. Of course, a word of caution to all people in this position: be careful, it’s a masterpiece that captivates.
