Four were killed in a Russian bombing of a restaurant;  three Colombians were not injured

Ukrainian authorities have said four people have been killed in a Russian shelling of a restaurant in the city of Kramatorsk, located in the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine.

The Ukrainian prosecutor’s office said that among the victims there is a 17-year-old girl. In addition, 42 people, including an eight-month-old baby, received injuries of varying severity.

The Prosecutor General’s Office, which signaled the start of an investigation into the attack, did not rule out that there were still victims under the rubble of the restaurant. He also added that “at the epicenter explosion” were residential buildingscommercial premises, vehicles, among other civilian infrastructure.

He also indicated that Russian troops attacked the house at night, injuring five residents.

Donetsk Governor Pavel Kirilenko indicated on his Telegram profile that Russian forces fired two rockets at a pizzeria and an adjacent building around 8:00 p.m. At least three foreigners were among the wounded.

The National Police said that search and rescue operations are continuing at the scene of the attack. “All specialized services are involved: rescuers, police paramedics, explosives experts, investigators and forensic experts who are documenting another bloody crime of the Russian occupiers,” his letter says.

Colombian mission

In the attacked restaurant were three Colombians who were participants in the Hold on to Ukraine! initiative, as well as the wounded writer Victoria Amelina.

Colombians Sergio Jaramillo, former peace commissioner, writer Hector Abad Faciolince and reporter Catalina Gomez Angel remained unharmed.
