Windows and other Microsoft products have changed a lot in recent years. The world’s most popular PC operating system has integrated artificial intelligence, cloud features and more. As it is known, Microsoft wants to move all of Windows to the cloud in the long run.
Microsoft already has such a product – Windows 365. But such a cloud operating system is available only to corporate customers. A document submitted to the FTC in connection with the acquisition of Activision Blizzard can find a point where one of the company’s long-term strategies is to move Windows 11 more and more to the cloud. Specifically, Microsoft wants to be able to provide cloud-based Windows for any device.
Meanwhile, in the future update of Windows 11, the system will be able to download the cloud version of the operating system instead of the local version. The document also shows Microsoft’s intention to create its own processors for Surface PCs. There have been rumors about it lately.
