Google seems to have introduced an interesting improvement over the Share with Nearby file transfer system or Nearby Share: being able to send files to: another cell phone with the screen off.
Google hasn’t officially announced this, but @GreenShades9 who noticed an easy-to-verify innovation: if both mobile phones use the same Google accountThe screen lights up when they receive a file from Nearby Share.
easier to send
One of the limitations of Google’s AirDrop is that a cell phone is visible and therefore appears as a send destination. needed to be unlocked and screen onAs well as obviously having Share with Nearby enabled and visibility right.
Thus, even with Nearby Sharing enabled, you cannot send files if the other mobile phone is blocked At the time, something Google apparently managed to fix silently, possibly via a recent update to Google Play Services.
Now, if the shipment to another mobile phone with the same Google accountIt doesn’t matter if the screen is off at the moment: the mobile phone appears in the list and we can complete the shipment without any problems, without ever needing to manipulate the other mobile or unlock it first.
So Google continues to develop the transfer system equivalent to Google’s AirDrop, a few months ago it launched the Windows version where we can send and receive files to our computers.
