“May was more successful in IT services exports compared to the previous month. The indicator increased by 9.5 percent and reached 590 million dollars,” the statement said.
At the same time, these indicators are 1.8%, or $11 million less, than in May last year, according to the company.
In total, IT services exports in the 5 months of this year decreased by 12% compared to the same period of 2022 and amounted to $2.8 billion. The difference between the periods in terms of dollars is 374 million dollars.
According to Stepan Veselevskyi, general manager of Lviv IT cluster, if the trend continues, the industry has a chance to finish 2023 with the same revenue figure in 2022, ie at $7.3 billion.
As reported, IT services exports from Ukraine in January-March 2023 amounted to $1.68 billion, which is 16% less than in the same period of 2022.
